Welcome!

Why do we love our pets? In the United states alone, there are 75 million dogs and 89 million cats living as companions. That isn't even including small animals such as reptiles, fish, and birds. There is a love that you receive from your pet that you cannot get anywhere else. There are very few who will love you unconditionally, no matter your circumstance or situation, even when you don't love yourself. And in return, they ask for nothing.

Every animal has a tale to tell, and I am going to start sharing some of the things that have brought me laughter, joy, and even sorrow in my experiences with animals. I have two amazing dogs with very different personalities. I also volunteer with a local organization dedicated to small animals. I run adopt-a-thons every month to help rescue some of the animals in the organization. My husband and I are also foster parents, and will foster dogs now and then. It is a rewarding experience to know that you are saving lives and making a difference in the lives of animals that may otherwise not have a chance. So as fosters come and go, I will tell their story, along with insight and stories from raising my own pets.
